Ora:
Hello, this will be a quick post explaining my new project that was mentioned in my macro report. The name of the project is the ‘Ora portfolio’ if you’re wondering what Ora means, well it translates from Latin to English as the word “edge”. Ora or edge aka alpha is what I plan on creating with this portfolio and I can’t wait to share it with you all!
How will the portfolio work?
I want to be clear what the Ora portfolio is not. It is not a real money portfolio, it is a simulated portfolio using the service ToS. (There might be occasions I include trades I took with real money into Ora but when I do I will be sure to notify the readers.) It’s not meant to be copy tradered, it is not investment advice. The goal of Ora is to share trade concepts I have thought up and to explain how and why I came to my conclusions.
Portfolio Specifics:
The Ora portfolio as mentioned above is a simulated trading account on ToS, with a starting capital of $100,000. The assets I will trade in Ora include equities, options, futures, etfs and FX. With the majority likely to be equities or a derivative of equities. I will go both long and short with Ora, the Ora portfolio will trade intra-day and swing trade. Every month I will share a portfolio update tracking how Ora performs, I will also be posting the trades on my Twitter @cluelessfund (click the @ to open my Twitter/X). When possible I will also post the trades onto Substack.
What do you think?
Do you have any thoughts or questions on the Ora portfolio? If so please feel free to leave a comment.
