Hello everyone I hope you’re doing well! In today’s post I will be reviewing the performance of the Celeritas Fund. Check out my last post on the Ora/Celeritas Fund for more details on that! (Linked below)
But today I plan on reviewing some trades I took in the last month or so along sharing some new set ups I like. I think I’ve decided to do these fund reviews at least one time bi-monthly. I’m going to work on sending my trades in my Substack chat so those of you who are interested can stay updated in real time.
A review of this months trades:
I am going to focus on the most interesting trades I placed over the last month. A full breakdown of my trades and PnL can be seen in Figure 2-Figure 6. Gold futures made and lost a sizeable amount of capital in the Celeritas Fund. The reason for this was first I de-risked my position (which can be seen in Figure 4 at the very bottom) after that I sold 10 contracts for a gain of $17,433.33 or 1.21%. However, I did leave 5 runners but I did not set the correct stop loss to ensure my profits did not get ruined (which unfortunately happened). Overall I’m not very pleased with my performance this month. I’m still working out my R:R for different assets. Among many other variables that need major work.
Total trades so far: 33
Winning trades so far: 17
Losing Trades so far: 16
Current portfolio holdings:
Currently in the Celeritas Fund book we have 3 contracts of 2 year UST futures. (ZTM2024) We are also long UBM2024, ZNM2024. Along with a long short ETF pair with longs on HYG 0.00%↑ and shorts on LQD 0.00%↑.
Closing:
Overall I think my performance could be much better and I plan on taking advantage of future economic catalysts like the upcoming PCE print for example. I will also trade several biotech catalysts I plan on sharing these trades in the substack chat function. Finally, I’m working on an equity deep dive into an energy company that operates and is listed on DM stock exchange, look out for that as well. I also plan on writing my view on the current macroeconomic regime soon. Thank you all for the support and I look forward to sharing more of my work soon!
